PACKTALK CUSTOM IS AN UPGRADABLE MESH INTERCOM WHICH HAS A BASIC SET OF BUILT-IN FUNCTIONS AND PREMIUM DMC MESH TECHNOLOGY. THE USER HAS THE OPTION TO UPGRADE, IN THE SHORT OR LONG TERM, TO ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AS DESIRED. THIS CAN BE DONE WITHOUT HAVING TO PURCHASE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRODUCT TO DO SO. THE UPGRADE CAN BE EASILY ACTIVATED THROUGH THE CARDO CONNECT APP.

With Packtalk Custom, you as a consumer can determine which features are important for your specific use, Cardo calls it: Pay-Per Feature and is divided into Silver, Gold, and Platinum packages. The package can be conveniently purchased within the Cardo connect app. You can thus choose whether you want to buy access to: Cross-Brand connection, Natural Voice Operation, the ability for music streaming, short number function, 2 channel function, etc. At first glance, Packtalk Custom resembles Cardo Neo and Edge in its design. However, it lacks the powerful JBL speakers that its older siblings are equipped with. The unit is, however, equipped with the most advanced Bluetooth 5.2 chip on the market. This enables integration of the latest audio technology and significantly improves the quality of your intercom. Bluetooth 5.2 is also more efficient and secure while creating longer battery life. Packtalk Custom is controlled by 2nd generation Dynamic Mesh Communication, DMC, which provides a simple lightning-fast pairing for a group of up to 15 riders. DMC is a connection frequency for intercom calls that creates a dynamic network for all participants, instead of having to pair all participants in a chain formation as is the setup with classic Bluetooth connections. DMC is particularly good for intercom calls with multiple users and is also extremely easy to pair, regardless of whether you are 4 people or 15 people. The pairing process is completed in under 2 minutes. It has a generous range of up to 1.6 km between riders. You easily attach the unit with the magnetic Air Mount holder by holding it close to the helmet mount, where it quickly and securely attaches to your helmet. Packtalk Custom withstands water, rain, mud, dust, snow, and sunshine. Unlike Edge, you cannot charge Custom while riding, but it has the option for fast charging. The unit has an ergonomic control wheel and a warranty period of 2 years.
